City of Las Vegas Municipal Courthouse

The courthouse houses seven courtrooms, with infrastructure in place to accommodate future expansion, as well as offices for judges, court administration, the city attorney, and support staff. Additional features include classrooms, a resource center, intake rooms, holding cells, and a secure sally port for prisoner transportation.

The building’s design complements the surrounding civic architecture, featuring a contemporary façade constructed with insulated metal panels in Silver Metallic and custom Eames Blue. A prominent entry canopy and two-story atrium lobby create a welcoming public presence while maintaining necessary security measures.

Sustainability was a key focus, with the courthouse achieving LEED Silver certification. Eco-friendly elements include electric vehicle charging stations, low-VOC interior materials, individual LED lighting controls, and proximity to public transit. The project also achieved a construction waste diversion rate exceeding 75 percent.
