City of Frisco Municipal Court Adaptive Re-Use
Frisco, TX
This adaptive re-use project revitalized the existing 17,395-square-foot structure and introduced a 6,320-square-foot expansion, culminating in a 23,715-square-foot facility.

The expansion features white limestone and brick facades that harmonize with the surrounding downtown architecture. A double-height, ballistic-reinforced grand lobby welcomes visitors, offering abundant natural light and a secure, inviting atmosphere.
The interior design emphasizes transparency and functionality, incorporating high wood ceilings in the main lobby, white and grey-toned terrazzo flooring in public areas, and wood veneer wall treatments in the courtrooms. Back-of-house areas are finished with a neutral palette, featuring light grey carpet tiles, white walls, and walnut office furnishings.
The facility accommodates two courtrooms, a central jury room, judges’ chambers, a court clerk’s office, and administrative staff areas. It also consolidates all court records into a centralized filing room, enhancing operational efficiency.
