University of Nevada Las Vegas Advanced Dental Education Building

The Advanced Dental Education Building supports UNLV’s Orthodontic Education and Training Program with classrooms, seminar rooms, labs, operatories, and administrative offices, creating a comprehensive academic and clinical environment.
Public areas for students and visitors are clearly separated from clinical zones to support workflow, privacy, and patient care. Patient interaction spaces meet HIPAA privacy standards with integrated acoustic and visual separation.
A series of nested canopies defines the entry sequence, providing shade and guiding visitors toward the main entrance. Inside, a glazed partition separates the lobby and waiting areas from treatment spaces, while a dedicated children’s play area enhances family-friendly use.
