The facility delivers modern services in a welcoming, sustainable environment.

Programmed to accommodate a 25,000-volume collection, the interior includes dedicated spaces for children and teens, a public meeting room, flexible seating, and a small coffee shop. Study tables and public computers support a range of learning styles, while clerestory windows bring in natural daylight throughout the space.

Exterior materials were selected for both durability and regional character. A 10-foot base of fieldstone-pattern “pasture stone,” copper-toned metal siding, and a galvalume roof provide texture and performance. A covered walkway evokes the proportions and materials of traditional front porches and early train depots, reinforcing a connection to local context.
