Texas A&M University Bush School 1st + 2nd Floor Renovation
College Station, TX
The renovation of the first and second floors of the Allen Building at Texas A&M University’s Bush School of Government and Public Service transformed the space into a vibrant environment that both honors the school’s legacy and supports modern academic needs.

The project introduced new classrooms, conference rooms, research areas, and collaborative study zones, along with faculty and student breakrooms, a student mailroom, and expanded office space. Murals honoring President George H.W. Bush were thoughtfully integrated throughout, reflecting the values of the school and its namesake.
Conference areas were designed to support group work, meetings, and team-based projects, while dedicated space was provided for Bush School Centers and Institutes. A refreshed interior palette aligns with university branding, reinforcing stability, comfort, and a contemporary identity.
Upgrades to the main corridors included modern doors and frame systems, acoustic baffles to improve sound control, and a reconfigured central core. The redesign introduced daylight and integrated technology to create a welcoming shared space that strengthens both functionality and student experience.
