The tilt-wall facility accommodates 112 semi-trucks and includes administrative offices, shipping and receiving space, clear-span storage, and a 2,200-square-foot drivers’ lounge with restrooms and Wi-Fi. Interior loading docks, secure marshalling lanes, and covered canopies support efficient turnover of event equipment and materials.

The facility was positioned on the eastern edge of the property to reduce neighborhood impacts, buffered by green space and water-quality ponds. Its streamlined façade is designed to host future public art through the City’s Art in Public Places program.

Achieving LEED Gold certification, the project incorporates rooftop solar panels, rainwater and condensate collection, reflective paving, low-VOC materials, and UV air treatment systems. Guided by community input, the design balances performance, sustainability, and neighborhood compatibility, creating a high-capacity logistics hub that supports Convention Center operations.
