PGAL Joins Turner Construction Company in 33rd Annual Dulles Day Plane Pull

PGAL, together with Turner Construction Company, took part in the 33rd Annual Dulles Day Plane Pull, the signature fundraiser hosted at Dulles International Airport to support Special Olympics Virginia.

The 2025 event was held on Saturday, September 13 on the cargo apron of Dulles International Airport, as part of the larger Dulles Day Festival, which welcomed more than 12,000 attendees. Teams of 25 competed to pull an 82-ton aircraft (approximately 12 feet of distance) in the fastest time. This year’s Plane Pull raised an impressive $437,000, helping provide year-round training, competitions, and opportunities for over 20,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities across Virginia.
