PGAL Takes Home Two NAIOP Southern Nevada Spotlight Awards

PGAL was honored with two NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties) Spotlight Awards at the 20th Annual Spotlight Awards on Saturday, March 4 at Red Rock Casino Resort Spa in Las Vegas.

The awards recognize distinguished commercial real estate development in Southern Nevada and serves to increase public awareness about outstanding commitment and contribution made by representative firms, individuals, and projects.

PGAL’s Nevada State College Nursing + Education Building and the James E. and Beverly Rogers Student Center took home the Spotlight Award in the Public Use/Government/DOD category. The project provided two new buildings for the Henderson Campus: a 60,000 SF Nursing, Science, and Education Building that provides classrooms and offices, along with a 250-seat lecture hall; and a 60,000 SF student center building to house student service departments, student activities, a multi-use ballroom, library and information technology center, bookstore, and the Nevada State College Executive Administrative Offices.

PGAL’s Southern Nevada Health District New Headquarters Facility received the Spotlight Award for the Redevelopment Project category. PGAL worked with the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) on giving life to a shuttered old Target store by retrofitting the existing building to serve as the District's new Headquarters Facility, including 78,000 SF of office space, 23,000 SF general clinic, 6,200 SF TB/HIV clinic, and 9,000 SF flexible retail shell.
