Palm Beach Gardens Elementary School
The 119,150-square-foot Palm Beach Gardens Elementary School received unanimous early site plan endorsement from the City of Palm Beach Gardens. PGAL’s site plan provided neighborhood sensitivity, compatible aesthetics, traffic safety measures, and a unique outdoor learning environment.
This project presented an opportunity to completely reshape the entire school campus. Palm Beach Gardens Elementary now includes two pre-kindergarten classrooms, eight kindergarten classrooms, 14 primary classrooms, 12 intermediate classrooms, and four supplemental classroom spaces. PGAL also designed an administration suite, cafeteria, and media center, as well as areas for music, art, teacher planning, and physical education.
Outdoor recreational amenities include multipurpose softball and soccer fields, a covered play structure, and an asphalt play court. Ample natural light shines into all classrooms, and a cheerful color palette of ocean blue and sea green represents the school’s mascot, the dolphin.
