Guadalajara International Airport T-1 Improvements and T-2 Expansion (GDL)

PGAL was awarded the planning and schematic design projects for T-1 Improvements and the T-2 Expansion project. PGAL developed a strategic alliance with LINK Arquitectura in pursuit of this project. Currently the airport has 13 gates that services 5.8 million passengers a year. Once the construction of the Master Plan has been completed the airport will have 48 gates, is projected to serve 12 million passengers yearly and total 1,700,000 sf. 

T-1 services include:

• Expansion and renovation of the terminal building
• Relocation of the vertical circulation
• Relocation of the restaurants
• A new connector bridge between T-1 and the new parking garage
• A new restaurant

T-2 services include:

• 12 new gates
• Conceptual drawings
• Planning and schematic design    
• A pedestrian bridge between T-1 and T-2
• A new restaurant
