Centro Cultural Mexiquense de Oriente CCMO

For the Centro Cultural Mexiquense de Oriente CCMO project in Texcoco, PGAL is providing design team coordination for the LEED certification process with the goal to obtain LEED Silver Certification level. The project is a cultural center comprised of 7 buildings: theater and concert hall;  amphitheater; auditorium; library; museum; administration building and multidisciplinary workshops. Construction is scheduled to complete in June 2011.  Centro Cultural Mexiquense de Oriente CCMO is pursuing LEED-NC Silver Certification, including the following green features:  20% reduction on mechanical HVAC size and needs resulting in power savings; use of high efficiency electrical motors, plumbing fixtures and lamps; 14% in energy savings; 65 % in city water savings; and tertiary water treatment plant and water reuse for chillers.
