ENR Texas & Louisiana Names Two PGAL Projects 2022 Best Projects

ENR Texas & Louisiana recently announced the 17 Best Projects and 17 Awards of Merit across 18 categories for the 2022 Best Projects competition.

Out of 94 project submittals, two PGAL projects were named winners in their respective categories: Grundfos Headquarters Office Building and DFW Terminal C – High C Gates, Unitized Modular Concourse.

The Grundfos Headquarters Office Building, located in Brookshire, Texas, was named Best Project in the Office/Retail/Mixed-Use category. The new 48,670-square-foot, LEED Platinum certified landmark regional headquarters building campus for the Danish water pump company was designed by PGAL and Huitt-Zollars and built by Harvey-Cleary Builders.

The DFW Terminal C- High C Gates, Unitized Modular Concourse won the Award of Merit for the Airport/Transit category. The first of its kind project for an airport was designed by PGAL with Structural Engineers Henderson Rogers and built by Design-Builder The Walsh Group. The outdated existing structure (built in 1988) was demolished and in its place is a new two-level, 80,000-square-foot terminal consisting of a pre-fabricated modular envelope.

Both projects and teams will be formally celebrated at the October 13 luncheon in Houston. Click here for a full list of winners.
