UTMB Specialty Care Center Opens: Soothing Aesthetics at Victory Lakes Specialty Care Center

The 110,000 sf Victory Lakes Specialty Care Center at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston opened June, 2010, the first building on this new 35-acre medical campus. Designed by PGAL, it offers ambulatory surgery/recovery, cardiac and occupational health services, diagnostic imaging, testing, specialty clinics, medical library and educational support space. Its minimalist design combines natural light, the sound of running water and a soft color palette to create a soothing sense of well-being.
