Ian Nestler is an award winning planner and designer who has specialized in the aviation, education, civic, and justice fields for 34 years. Well known for his partnering abilities, many of his projects have been completed utilizing design-build or construction management delivery. A strong proponent of sustainable and green design initiatives, his projects are nationwide and include the $100 million Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport’s new International Terminal 4; the $37 million US Federal Courthouse in Ft. Pierce; the $42 million Florida Atlantic University Innovation Village Student Apartments in Boca Raton; the new 125,000 sf campus for Florida Atlantic University’s MacArthur Campus and Honors College; $50 million in Fire and Library Facilities for Broward County; $64 million in new parking garages for the University of Florida, Florida International University and the City of Delray Beach; $85 million in new elementary schools and a high school expansion for Palm Beach County; and the 50,000 SF expansion to Union Hills High School in Phoenix.
