The strategic siting of the new 9 1 1 facility on previously undeveloped land will disturb relatively little of the heavily wooded site. Construction waste management will reduce 50 – 75% of the waste and use of recycled content materials, certified woods and finishes with low emitting VOC are key aspects for greening this project. Outdoor air delivery monitoring, day lighting and optimizing energy performance through MEP systems are also included.
