PGAL is responsible for the FAU campus master plan and infrastructure development. The plan envisions a 10-year growth to 1,000 full-time students. Currently PGAL is serving as an associate architect for the Phase I implementation of the Joint Use Campus with Indian River Community College. Plan considerations include integrating the campus into the existing development while addressing the issue of high traffic turnover in the midst of a planned residential community. Extensive wetland and environmental mitigation are also chief concerns. Phase I features a 100,000 SF Joint Use FAU/IRCC multi-building complex including academic facilities, a central library and administration center.
