Architectural and engineering design for three mainline toll plazas and 22 ramp toll plazas along the Sam Houston Tollway South Belt, and reconstruction of the mainline toll plaza at the Houston Ship Channel Bridge on the East Belt. Design was prepared per TxDOT requirements. Mainline toll plazas were designed with 12 lanes of 12" CRCP main lane paving and associated canopy structure, toll booths, islands, railing, barriers, signage and underground access tunnel connecting to a new operations building. Each site was designed with new concrete parking, driveways, entrance/exit ramps, sidewalks, restroom facilities, storm sewer system, domestic and fire water supply utilities and sanitary sewage system with pump station and force main.
