Prepared preliminary engineering and final design for improvements to Runway 13/31 including asphalt overlay and repair of base failures as well as construction of asphalt shoulders and blast pads to meet design standards for Group IV aircraft. The scope of work includes drainage improvements; shoulder improvements; earthwork; lime stabilized sub-grade; 8-inch cement treated sub-base; rehabilitation of surface milling for overlay; a recycle program; barricades and pavement markings; blast pad improvements; full depth and sub-base repairs; 8-inch cement treated base and modifications to the under drain system.
