PGAL worked with the City of Garland to establish a comprehensive new campus for its Justice Facilities. The complex is located on a 24-acre campus in Garland, Texas, and contributes to the creation of a new city aesthetic.
Although the total campus includes 24 acres, only 14 acres could be developed. The remaining 10 acres were set aside as flood control area.
Following a bond program for new Police and Courts Buildings, the existing facilities were moved in phases. The first phase included the Police and Court Buildings.
The site was developed as follows:
- Master Plan Total Facilities 159,260 SF
- Police Facility 90,718 SF
- Courts Facility 32,509 SF
- Forensics Facility 4,958 SF
- Jail Facility 31,075 SF
