PGAL was selected as part of UNLV's first design/build team to design the new Academic Dental Education Building for their Shadow Lane Campus. This 40,000 SF, two-story facility houses the Orthodontic Education and Training program which includes operatories, labs, classrooms, seminar rooms, and administrative offices. Public spaces are designed to be separated from the functional, clinical space where dental procedures and support activities occur. The building exterior utilizes a pre-cast concrete panel system, consisting of a 2-inch minimum concrete veneer integrally cast into a metal stud panel.
