PGAL was selected to provide complete architectural and engineering services for the $30 million first phase of the new Florida Gulf Coast University Campus, comprising 210,000 SF of facilities in six buildings including the Central Library. Library functions accommodate research, offices, electronic media, and printed-material storage and study area. The library, which is fully wired for telecommunications, provides a mix of print and electronic-formatted literature. A specialized instructional technology training unit is located in the Library to assist the teaching staff in learning to use the wealth of telecommunications-based resources and teaching methods.
