UNT serves 32,000 undergraduate students on two campuses totaling 455 acres. The main campus includes 52 academic buildings and 10 residence halls. To accommodate student population growth, UNT selected PGAL to provide concurrent architectural and engineering design and construction administration services for two new residence halls - Honors Residence Hall and Legends Residence Hall.
Honors Residence Hall includes 200 beds with 490 SF Semi-Private Suites consisting of 2 bedrooms with a shared living space that includes a kitchenette and living area. Other features include a Learning Center for special events with media/ project capabilities, gallery/gathering adjacent to the Learning Center (and divided by a 2-way fireplace) area for special events, and commons spaces to include TV rooms, game rooms, computer labs, study rooms and sound-isolated music practice rooms.
