Citizen's Communication Headquarters
Plano, Texas
Construction Cost: $30M
Completion Date: 2000
Size: 700,000 SF
27-acre master plan
285,000 SF (phase one)
PGAL provided 27-acre master planning, site planning, architecture, interior architecture, technology planning and selection of FF&E as the lead designer for Citizens Communications' corporate headquarters. The firm also served as the Owner's Representative for 18 months to accomplish this project in the extremely compressed schedule.
Citizens Communications, a long time PGAL client, made a decision to vacate leased space and build a corporate office building (700,000 SF) for their own use. The first phase of the Citizens' campus consists of a 285,000 SF of office space, with two 2-level and one 3-level structure. There is one parking level (approximately 31,000 SF) below the 3-level centerpiece building with the remainder parking on grade. Both the 2-story outboard wings and the 3-story centerpiece are "tilt-up" construction.
