PGAL has recently been selected to lead a collaborative team of both design professionals and national specialists for the City of Denton's new Public Safety Training Facility.  Local and regional needs for specialized police and fire training in North Texas led to the design of this facility which includes a state -of-the-art swift water rescue training course that will be one of only two in the nation.

Located on 85 acres in Denton County, the site houses a recently constructed fire station and will provide administration facilities, educational programs and training for police and fire teams in addition to public assembly areas. Program elements include a 26,000 SF education building, future community center with children's village, burn buildings and fire training props, firing range, shoot house Simunitions, vehicular training course & skid pads, swift water rescue training facility, outdoor classrooms and a bike path.
