Program:
- Strategically located at a rest-stop on I-75 in Western Broward County, this Fire Rescue Sub-Station will reduce the response time for firefighters by 15 minutes, which is critical for a remote stretch of interstate.
- The sub station has two drive-thru apparatus bays with secured staff parking. The two vehicles to be stationed will be a Heavy Rescue Truck and a Pick Up Truck, along with an All Terrain Vehicle and Air Boat on trailers.
Innovations:
- Station will be on 100% emergency power with additional fuel to supply the apparatus equipment.

Station houses a crew of three fire-rescue personnel and a Battalion Chief, and an office for a BSO Patrol Officer.
- Small exam room is located adjacent to the building lobby to treat walk-up patients.
